This versatile and large shallow plate is well suited for mounting on the wall or featured on your dining room table or coffee table. Welded from discarded washers and found solid round discs.

Much of the steel that Americans (including industry) throw away can be recycled, yet only about 70% of it actually ends up recycled. Every three months, the United States as a whole discards enough steel to completely rebuild Manhattan. This plate comes from mountains of twisted and mangled steel at a local scrap yard in Wisconsin. 

Each plate is unique and will vary slightly due to the hand made process and materials available.
