The highlight of a well-dressed table, these place mats are striking and eye-catching.

Much of the steel that Americans (including industry) throw away can be recycled, yet only about 70% of it actually ends up recycled. Every three months, the United States as a whole discards enough steel to completely rebuild Manhattan. These mats come from mountains of twisted and mangled steel at a local scrap yard in Wisconsin. 

Each mat  is unique and will vary slightly due to the hand made process and materials available.
